All access pass allows you to mingle with filmmakers, celebrities and film buffs, like you, for four days of fun-filled film events. The pass grants you access to all festival events, (except the filmmaking workshop) held throughout Fort Myers Beach

 

FILMMAKER WELCOME PARTY & SUNSET CRUISE

April 24, 2013 – 6:00 p.m. boarding time ($15 per ticket ) SOLD OUT

Join other guests, filmmakers and VIP celebrities aboard for a sunset cruise on the Gulf of Mexico for an opening night party fun that departs from the Estero Bay Express dock at 7225 Estero Boulevard. After our cruise, we will continue the fun at Nervous Nellie’s located at 1131 1st Street with complimentary snacks and a cash bar.

RIBBON CUTTING AT BEACH THEATER

April 25, 2013 – 2:00 p.m. ( FREE EVENT )

It all begins here with sponsors, committee members and filmmakers meeting and greeting ribbon cutting event to launch the 2013 films and at the locally owned Beach Theatre located at 6425 Estero Blvd.

INDEPENDENT FILM SCREENING TICKETS

Time to grab the popcorn, relax and enjoy some compelling and interesting films encompassing a wide range of tastes of independent feature films, documentaries, shorts at the Beach Theatre located at 6425 Estero Blvd.

MOVIE ON THE BEACH

April 26, 2013 – 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. ( FREE EVENT )

For those who remember drive-ins up north – Locals say it’s much better on the beach! Here’s your chance to kick off your shoes, grab a beach chair and enjoy  free music by Deb and the Dynamics and a movie on the beach for new fun-time memories at Holiday Inn’s beachfront 6890 Estero Blvd.

KID’S FEST AT BAY OAKS RECREATION CENTER

April 27, 2013 – Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.  ( FREE EVENT )

Family Fun Movie Night in conjunction with the 7th Annual Fort Myers Beach Film Festival. The first movie “Wreck it Ralph” will begin at 5:30 p.m. The second movie will begin at 8:00 p.m. and feature “The Avengers.” There will be free popcorn and a selection of additional goodies. Bay Oaks Recreation Center, 2731 Oak St.

FILMMAKING WORKSHOP “FROM INCEPTION TO DISTRIBUTION”

Want to know what it takes to become an independent filmmaker. Join a panel of guest speaker filmmakers who will instruct aspiring filmmakers by sharing knowledge, tips, and information in a hands-on workshop “from inception to distribution” location coming soon

AWARDS AND CLOSING CEREMONY

Join guests, filmmakers and VIP celebrities at the final announcement ceremony for the awards presentation of each winning category in creative independent filmmaking. Hosted by and located at Fish Tale Marina located dockside at 7225 Estero Blvd.
